Who we are

We are a leading manufacturer of precision wire-based materials that our customers use in medical devices to help improve people’s lives around the globe. Our mission is to continually improve the quality of our products, the speed with which we respond to customers' requests, and our level of understanding of the materials we work with and recommend. This has been our mission since day one.

At our essence, we are thinkers, innovators, and problem solvers, leveraging our knowledge of materials to create customized material solutions for our customers. Our products are used in everything from our customers’ stents and surgical robots to aircraft and automobiles.

From our beginning in 1970 when founder Ardelle Glaze, a research scientist and inventor, established Fort Wayne Metals, we've continuously expanded upon our breadth of materials, capabilities, and technical expertise.  Driven by a spirit of collaboration, innovation and quality, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible to create materials that support critical applications around the world.
