This Supplemental California Privacy Notice (the “Supplemental Notice”) describes the practices of Fort Wayne Metals Research Products, LLC (“FWM,” “we,” “us,” “our”) regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about California consumers through both online and offline interactions and explains how California consumers can exercise their privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”). This Supplemental Notice also provides additional details about our privacy practices related to your personal information, as required by the CCPA.

  • “Vendor” means a service provider or contractor, as defined by the CCPA, which collects, stores, or otherwise handles data for us and is bound by contractual obligations to use your personal information only as directed by us.

We, and our vendors, may collect and may have collected in the past 12 months the following categories of personal information about you:

We do not collect, use, or disclose sensitive personal information, as defined by the CCPA.

C. PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING AND DISCLOSING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We, and our vendors, collect, process, and disclose the personal information described in this Supplemental Notice to:

  • Provide our products and services
  • Manage, analyze, design, and improve our Site, products, and services
  • Respond to consumer requests and communicate with consumers
  • Engage with vendors and third parties
  • Protect and administer records and accounts
  • Conduct internal business analysis and research, including to understand consumers’ needs
  • Advertise and promote our products and services
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, and enforce our rights and policies
  • Administer, monitor, and secure our information technology systems, including detecting and preventing against security incidents and fraudulent activity

We may also anonymize personal information and use and disclose the anonymized information for any purposes permitted by law.

D. RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

When we collect personal information, we store it in FWM’s computer system and use it for purposes detailed in this Privacy Policy. We retain the personal information we collect for the duration needed for our business purposes, or as otherwise required by applicable law. When we no longer need such information, we will delete it or anonymize it such that it no longer constitutes personal information under applicable law.
