Fort Wayne Metals Recognized with 2025 Moving the Needle Award, Bronze-Level Honors from the Women's Fund of Greater Fort Wayne

  • Published March 14th, 2025

The Women's Fund of Greater Fort Wayne honored Fort Wayne Metals with the 2025 Moving the Needle Award and Bronze-Level recognition at its annual Women in the Workplace Luncheon on the Wednesday, March 12, at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation.

This prestigious award is presented to the organization that has demonstrated the most significant improvement over the past year in four key areas: leadership, compensation, benefits and policies, and recruitment and retention. The selection is based on data gathered from the Women's Fund's annual Compass Survey, which assesses organizations' efforts and impact in fostering an equitable workplace. By measuring tangible progress, the award highlights companies that are actively driving change and setting a new standard for gender equity in the workplace.

A record 75 local employers completed the Compass Survey, up from last year's previous best of 54, and Fort Wayne Metals' recognition is a testament to the intentional efforts happening within its organization to advance women and create equitable opportunities.

"At Fort Wayne Metals, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace for all our employees. We believe that by empowering women and promoting gender equality, we create a stronger, more innovative, and collaborative environment. This recognition from the Women's Fund of Greater Fort Wayne is a testament to our ongoing commitment to make our workplace better for everyone," said Taylor Monaco, Corporate Communications Manager.
