As part of the 2026 Sales and Marketing Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, Fort Wayne Metals employees from across the globe spent an hour giving back to an organization that supports the local community.

The group of more than 100 thoughtfully packed 40 boxes that Breastie Boxes will distribute to those recently diagnosed with breast cancer in the Fort Wayne community.

Each box contains comfort items curated to help support patients throughout their breast cancer treatment journey. Breastie Boxes distributes these boxes to Parkview, Dupont, and Lutheran hospitals, Fort Wayne Medical Oncology, and other community outreach organizations.

Breastie Boxes, a local nonprofit that began packing boxes in October 2022, has gifted more than 3,000 boxes and raised more than $500,000 for its cause. Erica Hyatt, breast cancer survivor and Executive Director and Founder of Breastie Boxes, shared that her organization distributes about 100 boxes to breast cancer patients in the community per month.
